1) If this best friend of yours is really your best friend, don't you think you would actually KNOW if she likes the guy or not? Judging from your question, you aren't sure yet..
2) Some say he likes you, some say he likes your best friend. Think of the people who told you these facts and think if they are people you can trust.
3) I know that it's not easy but either talk to your crush or talk to your best friend. If your best friend reacts [in a bad way] when you talk to your crush, then it's up to you to decide what to do about it. If you can't tell your best friend right now that you like this guy, ask her casually nalang if she likes the guy. If you can't do that parin, just say "ang cute ni ___ today, no?" If she doesn't react or she doesn't agree, then she can't blame you if you start showing that you LIKE the guy.. If she says "oo nga!" then just giggle nalang and talk about your feelings.. C'mon, look at it this way: if she's your best friend and you're her best friend, things are bound to work out.:)

don't be so sure. people change. speaking from experience, people change. like kunwari, through text, he's very sweet but shy and hard to understand, but in person, little by little his true personality will show because he'll be more comfortable with you. i'm not saying it's a bad thing, but wait until he's comfortable enopugh to show his true self to you. another thing is: if that guy is courting you or whatever keep in mind that when a guy is courting, he is only showing his good side. that's why i don't believe in courtship.:)
